OUR MISSION: To GO. . .
Inspired by Jesus’ command to love God and Others and to GO make Disciples!
OUR GOAL: We make disciples of Jesus Christ:
- Through Bible study opportunities
- By serving others
- With small groups
- In worship
Ongoing yearly programs, retreats, events and trips include:
Youth Group Meetings – Meets the 3rd Sunday of every month at 6:30 for discussion, fellowship, leadership training and planning. Todd Fossum is the group leader.
Service Projects – Part of being a Christian is serving others. We serve by participating in worship as lectors, communion assistants, worship techs and more! We serve by participating in projects to help the community: Adopt a Highway, Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, Souper Bowl Sunday, Making meals for those in need, Advent buddies and more!
Fellowship Events - It is fun to hang around with your friends in a safe and caring environment. The group plans events including Lock-ins Sardines, Scavenger Hunts, Ping Pong Tournament, Movie Night, Bowling.
Growth Opportunities - It is important to try new things and reach out in faith. First Lutheran Youth offers experiences that help teenagers grow in faithful ways. Mission Trips, Retreats, Camp at Lutherdale, Leadership Training, The Summer Musical.
Fundraisers that support our youth programming and trips include:
