Small Groups

First Lutheran offers several small group opportunities. If you have questions, call Pastor Sara in the church office at 873-7761.

Book Clubs – FLC currently has 1 morning and 1 evening group each month which discuss a variety of secular and religious books. The morning book club, or Selah Group, meets the third Tuesday of each month at 10:30 am. The evening group gathers on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 pm.
Titles such as The Red Tent, One Thousand White Women, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan and Pope Joan have brought about lively discussions. Folks are welcome to come each month or when you have a specific book you are interested in talking about! Contact Liz Nelson at 873-7761 for more information.

Women’s Circles - Several small women’s groups called circles meet periodically in member’s homes. For more information, please call the church office at 873-7761.

Grief and Losses – This group is designed to help people deal with issues surrounding difficult life events like death, divorce, miscarriage, estrangement, etc. This group will be led by Pastor Pribbenow.

Soul Sisters – This women’s faith study group meets at 10:30 am on the third Monday of each month in the Fireside Room. For more information, please contact Jeanie Geurink.
